Kalligrafie in Venedig
Die International Graphics School in Venedig veranstaltet vom 21. bis 25. März 2008 einen Kalligrafie-Kurs mit Jovica Veljovic. Den Lesern meines Blogs mag “der Professor” bereits bekannt sein von meiner Teilnahme an seinem Schrift-Design-Kurs in Pettenbach.
Diesmal gehts eben um die hohe Kunst der Kalligrafie (weshalb ein Grundwissen vorausgesetzt wird) und besonders die Verbindung derselben mit Druck, jedoch schreibt Kathryn Frate von der scuolagrafica: “The course is not solely calligraphic, but will take advantage of Jovica’s knowledge of printing techniques and printed letters and the school’s printing presses.”
